For 2005, the winter dinner returned us to a previous venue, Assumption Greek Orthodox Church at 30 Clapboard Ridge Road in Danbury. This marked the 16th annual event in this very successful series. As usual, the attendance was approximately 100 people including many children.
The menu was superbly varied and included many game, domestic, and ethnic dishes. Good music, raffle prizes, and fellowship contributed to another successful event. Funds were raised for the new church building and other needs. As always, a good time was had by all!!
A second, Fall Dinner held October 23, 2005 was similarly successful.
In 2007 the first dinner will be on February 11 at 4:30 P.M. at St. George's Church on Kohanza St. Reservations are recommended. Contact Fr. Luke at 203-748-00671 for information.
