July 26 2005: The roofing is completely applied except for the tower top.
This picture (taken 07/26/05) shows the roofing in place. All thet remains is the tower roof which is tricky to access without the boom lift. Windows are on order and will arrive soon. Cedar siding will be ordered this week and installation will begin in August.
As of July 26, 2005, Wood framing and sheathing are complete except for the basement opening. The basement concrete floor is poured. Roofing is 98% complete. Electric and HVAC are expected to start soon. Windows and siding as well.
Providing funds are available, the building may be ready for use in late 2005, although with many deferred elements. Although these decisions will be made as the project progresses, some items currently planned for deferral are the onion domes, new commercial kitchen appliances, finishes for floors and trimwork, air conditioning, optional bathrooms, etc. These and many other elements will be added over years as funding is available.
