June 28 2005: The front porch is now nearing completion.
This picture (taken 06/28/05) shows the church's final shape nearly completed. The porch concrete is poured and temporary post hold the porch roof up as it is sheathed.
As of June 28, 2005, Wood framing and sheathing are nearly complete. The roofing is needed now as rains have intruded the partiall finished but unsealed roofing sheath.
Providing funds are available, the building may be ready for use in late 2005, although with many deferred elements. Although these decisions will be made as the project progresses, some items currently planned for deferral are the onion domes, new commercial kitchen appliances, finishes for floors and trimwork, air conditioning, optional bathrooms, etc. These and many other elements will be added over years as funding is available.
