December 13, 2005: Winter returns siding continues
This picture (taken 12/13/05) shows the cedar on the tower and starting on the walls. HVAC work continues inside to install heat furnaces and ducting. Rough in electrical work has also begun.
As of December 13, 2005, Slate installation on the porch floor is still not finished but the siding is well underway. HVAC continues. We are nearinf one year anniversary on the construction phase of the project.
Providing funds are available, the building may be ready for use in the spring of 2006 , although with many deferred elements. Although these decisions will be made as the project progresses, some items currently planned for deferral are the onion domes, new commercial kitchen appliances, finishes for floors and trimwork, air conditioning, optional bathrooms, etc. These and many other elements will be added over years as funding is available.
