Some comments on the Trinity 5k
Dear Father,
I just want to thank you, your parishoners and all the people that helped on the T5K for the great job. My wife and I couldn't find anything that could be improved on (...and we're veterans of many years of racing). The course was laid out nicely and seemed to be accurate as far as our times were concerned. The course was fast enough, but had a few hill challenges. We both felt the awards were unique and beautiful (I got one, but she didn't - she said that she still wants to come back next year anyway). We felt all the people at the race were welcoming and cordial. This was important to us because we traveled over an hour to try it out (Hillburn, NY - near Suffern) and we didn't know any of the runners. The refreshments were outstanding, particularly the perogies. The idea of having the raffles while the results were being tabulated was excellent. The awards ceremony went smoothly and the cause that the race was intended to benefit was beyond question a worthwhile one. I probably left a few other compliments out (one more - it was great racing weather - I guess the Higher Power cooperated on that one), but I think you should be very proud of your efforts. Here's looking forward to the 7th T5K. (By the way, I was the one who recommended that you see the movie SIGNS - I hope you find it meaningful)

Cordially yours,
